Overview

Center for Global Education (GlobE) offers programs to support the internationalization of students. We are planning a film screening and discussion event to provide opportunities for students to explore different cultures and values.

The film offers an in-depth look at the daily life of a Japanese elementary school, capturing the experiences of first and sixth graders throughout the school year. It highlights the unique aspects of Japanese education, such as the emphasis on group activities, discipline, and the role of older students in mentoring younger ones. Through this lens, the film explores broader themes of community, responsibility, and the formation of social values in young children.

After the screening, stay for an exclusive discussion and Q&A session with the director herself, where you’ll have the chance to dive deeper into the film's themes and creation process. We invite all ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app students join this event. Please register now!
