?Details about scholarships programs which are offered by ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app or by other external entities are available. There are scholarships for studying abroad other than those listed on this website which can be found by referring to JASSO¡¯s website.
?There are two kinds of scholarships for studying abroad. On this site, they are classified in the following manner: (1) scholarships which require nomination or recommendation by ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app, and (2) scholarships for which applicants must apply directly to the program¡¯s organization. For (1) scholarships which require nomination or recommendation by ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app, students must submit the application documents to their faculty/graduate school. Please refer to the relevant office of the faculty/graduate school for application documents and deadlines. For (2) scholarships for which applicants must apply directly to the program¡¯s organization, students should apply directly.
These scholarships are only available to students who are going to study abroad for more than 3 months. If you are going to study abroad while keeping your status as a ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app student, you can apply for these scholarships (e.g. University-wide Student Exchange Program).
These scholarships are available to students who are going to study abroad for less than 3 months, like programs during the summer vacations.
Other than category like ¡°scholarships for undergraduate program¡± or ¡°Scholarships for Master¡¯s/Doctor¡¯s program¡±, there are scholarships for students who participate in overseas activities, such as participation to conference, research project, student organizations activities, etc.
These scholarships are available for students who aim to obtain an academic degree from an overseas graduate school.
