Disposing of Large Waste Items:
 

Rules for large sized items- Notify the center in advance of the item you plan to dispose of and purchase stamps to the relevant value from a local convenience store. You will be given a specific day and place to place the item for disposal. If you are moving or planning to move back to your country, please notify the center well in advance of your leaving date. You can also apply online or by phone. Procedures differ according to the area you reside in. In case you live in the area which is not shown on the website, please refer to your local administration (city/ward office) website and follow their instructions.

Kashiwa campus

The Kashiwa Branch of the Center for Global Education (GlobE Kashiwa), in cooperation with members of the Kashiwa Campus and local volunteer groups, provides essential household items free of charge to help international students and researchers settle into their new lives in Japan.

¡öRecycle Bazaar in Kashiwa

Free Recycling Bazaar is held twice a year, in April and October.

Sign up form will open at 10:00 am on March 26, 10AM.

We are currently accepting donations for the bazaar.
Donation Period: February 3rd (Monday) to March 28th (Friday) 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM / 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Donation Location: Center for Global Education (Kashiwa Branch) (Room 124, 1st floor of the Environmental Studies Building)

In-demand items: Bicycles, small household appliances (microwaves, rice cookers, toasters, etc.),
storage items, unused towels, and kitchenware (pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.).

Items in lower demand: Used or older daily necessities (e.g., tableware, clothing).
Please note that we may not be able to accept certain items.

We would greatly appreciate your support in donating these items, as they will help international students and foreign researchers adjust smoothly to life in Japan.




¡ö Donation of Large Items

For the giveaway of bulky items such as furniture or washing machines, you can post the information on the GlobE Kashiwa website and the bulletin board at the GlobE Kashiwa office. If you have any items to donate, please email the following information to GlobE Kashiwa at any time.
