[Expenses] NUS covers program fee, accommodation and 600 SGD will be funded for each participant for those who are selected. Other expenditures such as flight tickets, meals, insurance, personal expenses, and so on are to be paid individually.£©

?One week of engaging face-to-face lectures and workshops led by NUS professors and researchers
?Three weeks of online tutorials and hands-on practice in project presentations
?Visits to cutting-edge research labs and iconic local attractions
?Complimentary on-campus accommodation
?SGD 600 travel allowance (upon completion of the full programme)
[Scholarships] You may be eligible to apply for scholarships such as the " Go Global Scholarships Short (3 months-1 year) / S-Short (less than 3 months) Study Abroad Scholarships" if you meet the required conditions. For more details, please check the page here.
-Applicants must be students who are enrolled as full-time undergraduate/graduate students at the University during the period of application and the program. Those who are on temporary leave from the University or those who will lose their student status due to graduation, etc. during the time of the program are not eligible to apply.
-Please consult with the relevant section of the Faculty with which you will be affiliated during the program term in order to receive explanations on the points to be noted concerning the program, and fully understand the points before submitting their application. Follow the instructions from the relevant section of the Faculty that you are scheduled to belong to at the time of the program and receive the explanation well before participating in the program. Please note that there could be specific regulations regarding the program. Also if you have an academic advisor, please get approval on applying the program.
-If it is determined that participation in the program would interfere with your academic progress at this university, you may not be allowed to participate in the program even after being selected.
-¡¾Insurance/Overseas Student Safety Management Assistance¡¿After passing the internal selection process and being accepted into the study abroad program, students are required to take out Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES) “Futai Kaigaku” and the “OSSMA” (Overseas Student Safety Management Assistance) provided by Emergency Assistance Japan Co., Ltd. as a means of safety management during the program at their own expense (this will not be paid for by the University). Taking out this insurance and OSSMA will be one of the requirements for applying to a study abroad program through this application. Details of the insurance and OSSMA will be sent to students who are accepted into the programs at a later date.
-Students must submit a report (in a format prescribed by the International Educational Promotion Group) within two weeks after the program is completed.
-Before participating in the program, it is necessary to complete various procedures with the host university and the relevant faculty at the University of Tokyo before traveling abroad. Please refer to Pre-departure To Do (1) thoroughly check the required procedures in advance, and ensure that each individual carries out these responsibilities. -Students must follow all instructions or warnings given by ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app and the host institute.

?A detailed CV (maximum two A4 pages)
?A personal statement or reflective essay (maximum 1,000 words) addressing either:
A research area of strong personal interest, including its anticipated development
A current social issue or concern of significant personal relevance, including individual insights on potential resolutions
?Academic transcript (optional but highly recommended)
?Two letters of recommendation (optional, but we strongly encourage applicants to provide recommendation letters from faculty members who can specifically attest to their academic/research potential for this programme)
