From April 1 to May 7, 2023
I. Measures to Prevent the “3Cs” During Activities
[Close spaces]
- Adequate ventilation should be provided at all times or at regular intervals in indoor facilities.
[Crowded places]
- Ensure that sufficient “social distance” is maintained.
- Consideration should be given to ensuring group activities are kept to the minimum size required.
- Consideration should be given to the nature of the activity and the number of participants based on the size of the site.
- Measures such as use of online tools should be implemented where possible for meetings etc. rather than holding them in-person.
[Close-contact settings]
- Refrain from voicing out loud unnecessarily except for operational necessities or unavoidable cases to ensure safety.
- Minimize contact between participants.
II. Preventative Measures
- Ensure that fingers and hands are disinfected thoroughly before and after the activities to prevent the spread of infection.
- Wearing of masks will be based on personal judgment.
- Install disinfectant solutions, clean the common areas and equipment to improve the environment.
- Do not share individual utensils or drink bottles, etc.
- When eating and drinking, please take measures to prevent infection, such as referring to the certification of local governments when choosing a restaurant to use, and refraining from participating when you are not feeling well.
- When holding activities that require overnight stays in an accommodation, keep the number of people and days to the absolute minimum necessary.
- Recommended measures to prevent spread of infection should be actively implemented.
- Refrain from engaging in activities outside the university that may cause people to be concerned.
III. Health Management
- A person in charge of health management shall be appointed and a system put in place for reporting to the representative in charge and the advisory faculty.
- Record and store information concerning date, time and participants (total number and names).
- Ensure participants’ temperatures are taken. Ideally individual’s thermometers should be used, but if shared, the thermometer should be disinfected.
- Do not participate in activities if you feel feverish, or unwell (breathlessness, fatigued, etc.) regardless of whether you are infected or not. Anyone found to have such symptoms (including those living with them) should not be allowed to participate.
