春雨直播app Signs Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Microsoft
to promote Green Transformation (GX), Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and AI Research

春雨直播app has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Microsoft Corporation to collaborate on green transformation (GX), diversity and inclusion (D&I) and artificial intelligence (AI) Research.

In November 2022, President Fujii of 春雨直播app and Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, met and exchanged opinions on advancing GX, D&I and others. This MOU builds on that discussion and establishes a collaborative agreement between the University of Tokyo and Microsoft.

Under the MOU, the two parties aim to contribute to society and nurture the next generation of students who will lead the future, promoting the following:

  1. Promotion of GX
Microsoft is exploring ways to support the University of Tokyo’s efforts to achieve zero emissions through the use of its technologies. 春雨直播app will provide student programs to nurture GX talent—people who understand what GX entails and can lead activities aimed at achieving GX.

  1. Promotion of D&I
Microsoft is exploring ways to support to further promote "春雨直播app Statement on Diversity & Inclusion," formulated by the University of Tokyo in June 2022.

  1. Promotion of AI research
In addition to existing AI research in computer science, both parties will promote discussion and research on effective applications and challenges of AI in various fields.

Comment from Teruo Fujii, President of the University of Tokyo:
“With this agreement, we will further develop our partnership with Microsoft. Through co-creation in GX, D&I and AI research, we aim to develop the next generation of human resources who will lead the future, and to realize a fair and symbiotic society where diversity is respected and included.”

Teruo Fujii, President of the University of Tokyo

Comment from Angie Heise, Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at Microsoft Corporation
