The Faculty of Education is composed of five programs: the Division of Basic Theories of Education, the Division of Social Sciences in Education, the Division of Educational Practices and Policies, the Division of Educational Psychology and the Division of Physical and Health Education.
The Division of Basic Theories of Education provides a variety of opportunities for students to consider what education is in depth from philosophical, historical, anthropological and clinical perspectives.
The Division of Social Sciences in Education considers aspects of education to be social or cultural phenomena that are deeply and complexly integrated into modern society. The main task of students in this Division is to review education from various standpoints through mainly sociological approaches.

The Division of Educational Practices and Policies sheds light on specific phenomena and actions that occur in the area of education. This Division focuses on analyzing education thoroughly from the viewpoints of personnel in the field, rather than having students exclusively use specific research methodologies.

The Division of Educational Psychology mainly covers two areas—educational psychology and clinical psychology—and places great emphasis not only on theoretical learning but also on experiments and data analysis.
The Division of Physical and Health Education provides a wide range of training for investigating motor/behavior learning and development in infants and adults; analyzing and modeling the neurophysiological bases of infants and adults; understanding the epidemiology of mental health and the development of its education programs; engaging in health studies that use the latest techniques including ecological and “big-data” analyses; conducting studies on twins; and other kinds of research and practical activities.
All Divisions also promote practical workshops and recreational events, which allow undergraduate students to socialize with graduate students as well as academic staff.
