COVID-19 Lessons: Past and Future
by the Hitachi International Joint Research

This symposium aims to present the research results of the International Joint Study, titled “Public Health Economics of COVID-19 Pandemic,” supported by the research grant, “Hitachi Fund Support for Research Related to Infectious Diseases.” It was initiated on the platform of the Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Tokyo in December 2021. The international experts in health economics and outcomes research in Europe, North America and Asia review and analyze the gap between science and misinformation experienced during the pandemic, and make recommendations for the arrival of new pandemics in the future.
