Human brain demonstrates superior ability in efficient learning especially in situations without a teacher, which machine learning still struggles to compete. My lab is developing novel deep learning algorithms inspired by how infants learn. I also apply computational modeling, behavioral and neural imaging experiments to study human decision making, learning and spontaneous thoughts.
