A series of lectures is being held to coincide with the Intermediatheque 10th Anniversary Special Exhibition “Birds in Paradise”. The highlights of the exhibition, as well as various perspectives on birds ranging from Art to Science will be explained by specialists from various disciplines, from Natural History to the history of jewelry.

Speakers: Hajime Matsubara (Project Associate Professor, UMUT) + Elena-Caroline Boneti (Gemologist and Teacher at L’ÉCOLE)

Contents: The mechanism of coloration in bird plumage, and how to express it on gemstones: specialists from both fields share their insights.
