New Asia University in Building New Asia
Date: Wednesday, September 25, 12:00-13:00 (JST)
Online: Zoom
Language: English
Speaker: Tay Kheng Soon
Abstract
The concept of New Asia University is based on the combination of a core curriculum and course choices made by students regarding their main and secondary electives. Supported by professors, students design their own curriculums around the compulsory core curriculum that provides a historical account of how the world got to be what it is today and therefore where and how it should evolve. New Asia University is thus envisioned as an emancipative environment for the best and brightest Asian students and others. The lifelong friendships formed will trigger the future.
