Organized by Asia’s top engineering schools, Asian Dean’s Forum (ADF) 2023 The Rising Stars Women in Engineering Workshop (RSE) brings together young female professionals in engineering disciplines.
Insightful plenary and keynote lectures, panel discussions, and mentoring sessions will help participants kick-start their academic career in one of the top Asian universities.
Objective:
This workshop was launched in 2018 for the purpose of international networking and empowerment of young female researchers in the field of engineering, through lectures and mentoring by female professionals from seven universities, and pitches and poster sessions by aspiring young researchers visiting from around the world. The workshop has been a platform for young female researchers to share their experiences and ideas, to encourage their career development, and to create exchanges that transcend borders and fields of study.
The fourth RSE will be held at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering in 2023, and those who are eligible are encouraged to apply. After receiving applications, the RSE Selection Committee will conduct document screening and interviews. Travel expenses will be partially subsidized for those who are selected. Please refer to the website for details.
Target:
