春雨直播app Kashiwa Open Campus 2024 held

春雨直播app Kashiwa Open Campus 2024 was held on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at the Kashiwa Campus and the Kashiwa II Campus. This event was organized by the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, the Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, the Institute for Solid State Physics, the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU), the Center for Spatial Information Science, the Institute of Industrial Science, the Information Technology Center, the Kashiwa Library, the Environmental Science Center (Kashiwa Branch), the  University of Tokyo Archives, the Center for Global Education (Kashiwa Branch), the Mobility Innovation Collaborative Research Organization, and the Kashiwa2 Cooperation Hub. A wide range of interactive exhibits, presentations, lectures, and guided tours of normally restricted labs and facilities provided visitors with insight into the latest research.
 
Over two days, more than 9,600 visitors enjoyed the campuses’ open and welcoming atmosphere. We sincerely thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event.

The stunning balloon art was created by an alumnus of the Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute.


The ancient ironmaking method “tatara” was demonstrated, from furnace assembly to iron mass extraction (Institute of Industrial Science).


The “Tele Echo Tube System” interface connected to a remote forest, fostering a sense of closeness to nature (Information Technology Center @ Kashiwa II Campus).


“Experience Math through Ikebana” by Professor Yukari Ito (Kavli IPMU Professor and Iemoto Instructor of Ohara School of Ikebana).


A relaxed discussion on complex topics in “Science Onsen,” a Japanese-style adaptation of the UK’s “Science Cafe” (Kavli IPMU).


Various demonstrations, including in-motion charging, showcased the advanced control of electric vehicles (Graduate School of Frontier Sciences).
