Symposium on Data-Driven Future Society held
The Symposium on Data-Driven Future Society was held at the Takeda Hall by the Data Platform Promotion Task Force on September 2, 2019.
The objective of this symposium is to share the activity and discuss the direction towards the ideal society, Society 5.0, in which data is fully and better utilized everywhere. Approximately 240 people participated in this symposium from inside and outside of the University.
Following the opening remarks by President Gonokami, talks on data utilization in a wide variety of areas and fields including activities conducted at the University of Michigan were given, and a panel discussion and poster session of 20 presentations were held. During the symposium, there were active and fruitful discussions among participants, including questions and answers and exchanges of ideas.
