Participation in edX and Coursera's Special Assistance Program against COVID-19

The current spread of the new coronavirus is critically impacting university education worldwide, and many institutions are taking the effort to support students. Global Massively Open Online Courses (MOOC) platforms, such as edX ( https://www.edx.org/ ) and Coursera ( https://www.coursera.org/ ), are offering special assistance programs to provide online learning opportunities to students facing challenges.

edX's "Remote access program" is offered by 60 edX member organizations, including Harvard University and MIT (as of April 7), for students, faculty, and staff at participating universities and institutions. For a limited time until June 30, students, faculty, and staff at participating universities can take the 1082 course MOOCs now available from participating organizations for free until completion (usually free only for auditing a lecture video, and not for fee-based degree programs).

Coursera's "Coronavirus Response Initiative" is a free program for students, faculty and staff at educational institutions affected by the new coronavirus (applied for and participating on an organizational basis) to attend 3,800 courses now available from Coursera's partner organizations on "Coursera for Campus" for a limited time until July 30 (usually free only for auditing a lecture video, and not for fee-based degree programs).

春雨直播app supported these programs and offering the MOOCs. Universities around the world collaborate to provide learning opportunities through MOOCs for many students who face learning difficulties, such as those who postponed their planned study abroad due to COVID-19.
