On Friday, 22nd December, 2017, Professor Dr. H.R.H. Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol of the Kingdom of Thailand visited the University of Tokyo.

Following this audience, Professor Dr. H.R.H. Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol visited the School of Science where she was given an explanation about molecular dynamics in intense laser fields from Prof. Kaoru Yamanouchi while being shown around a laboratory and its equipment.

Professor Dr. H.R.H. Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol has been active as a researcher, and established the Chulabhorn Research Institute and the Chulabhorn Royal Academy.
