What is your favorite thing about Sapporo?
Sapporo is a wonderful place. It has all types of weather and every season has its own uniqueness and beauty. I like the way people celebrate every season. It is full of fun. This makes the place dynamic. Foods here are too good. Though they are costly but fresh and tasty. I can find everything of my taste or I can say Indian taste. The place is highly organised and well structured. I never have any problem to reach a desired place. People are great here. They are humble, gentle and highly cooperative. Though language is a hurdle, it is not tough. I am highly impressed by the service sector in Sapporo. Basically, I like many things here. I have mentioned only a few.
In what way has your impression of Sapporo or Japan changed since coming here?
I found Sapporo to be a better place I was looking for.
What attracted you to choose Hokkaido University as a place to study?
I found the research work in the laboratory of Robotics and Dynamics in the division of human mechanical system and designwas matching with my field of interest. Secondly, I found the University and place very beautiful.
It was a nice selection taken by me.

In what way did you adjust yourself to Japanese culture?
I found that Japanese culture is right for me. I found a lot of similarity between Indian culture and Japanese culture. I never faced a problem adjusting to food, climate and people here.
Please give a message to students or researchers in your home country who may be thinking about studying in Japan?
Japan is one of the best places to pursue higher studies for Indians. I wonder why Indians are few here when Japan offers best technology and infrastructure, high social security, unique culture and cooperative people. I find it better than any other destination.
