´ºÓêÖ±²¥app participated in the "3rd Japan-India Universities Forum" and the "IIT-H Academic Day."

On October 19, 2024, Executive Vice Presidents Kaori Hayashi and Akira Sugano , along with Vice President Yujin Yaguchi, participated in the "3rd Japan-India Universities Forum", where presidents and senior officials from top universities in Japan and India gathered. This forum, organized by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), aimed to establish a foundation for exchange to further promote Japan-India cooperation. Held in New Delhi, India, this year's forum focused on "Promotion of Japan-India brain circulation and utilization of its human resources". The event saw the participation of 43 universities, research institutions, and companies from Japan, and 35 universities and research institutions from India.

One of the roundtable discussions of the forum we co-chaired by Director B. S. Murty of the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H) and Executive Vice President Hayashi. Prof. Hayashi delivered the speech "Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan", commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2024. She discussed initiatives to expand English programs and enhance support systems for students from South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and the Maldives), aiming to increase the acceptance of international students. These topics were then discussed with other participating institutions.

In addition, individual meetings were held with top universities from India and companies interested in Japan-India exchanges. These discussions focused on promoting the acceptance of international students from India and strategies for supporting students after graduation.

On October 20 and 21, Associate Professor Yoshiyuki Kawazoe from the Institute of Industrial Science at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app joined Executive Vice President Hayashi and Vice President Yaguchi for the IIT-H Academic Day held in Hyderabad, India. They toured facilities such as the library, designed by Emeritus Professors Hidetoshi Ohno and Yozo Fujino, along with Assoc. Prof. Kawazoe. During the opening ceremony of the Academic Day, Executive Vice President Hayashi delivered a speech as the representative of Japan. Throughout the event, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app set up a booth to explain to students visiting the booth about degree courses that can be completed entirely in English, short-term study programs, research internship programs, and exchange programs.

Subsequently, a meeting was held with Prof. Murty, Director of IIT-H to discuss promoting exchanges between ´ºÓêÖ±²¥app and IIT-H.
