Short Report
On the following day (25 Nov.) the Seminar on Higher Education in Japan was held at Deerwalk Institute of Technology from 08:45 to 12:30 with the delegates arriving at DWIT at 08:15. Principal Mr. Surendra Adhikari welcomed all the delegates. The delegates were given a short tour of institute which was memorable. DWIT also teaches Japanese language with a Japanese instructor to IT professionals who are interested in working in Japan.
Around 150 students participated in the program with the majority being bachelor level IT students and +2 students from the Deerwalk High School. In addition to Deerwalk alumni, students from Lalitpur Engineering College and Nesfield College also attended the seminar.
A student from DWIT carried the role of M/C to conduct the seminar at DWIT. Campus Chief Mr. Surendra Adhikari expressed his welcome welcomed all the delegates as well as his wish to collaborate in future events.
The program at DWIT followed the same program as that at St. Xavier College the previous day.
