150th Anniversary Ceremony of the Faculty of Agriculture, 春雨直播app

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture in 2024, a pre-event for members of the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences (10:00-11:00) and a commemorative ceremony, etc. (14:00-19:30) will be held. The commemorative ceremony will be made up of three parts: a ceremony, a colloquium and a reception. In the ceremony, we will be having opening remarks from the President, a greeting from the Dean of the Graduate School, and congratulatory speeches from guests (including officials of the University of Tokyo Alumni Association, Japan Food Industry Association, Norinchukin Research Institute Co., Ltd., Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and M2Labo, and other related parties), commemorative speeches on the theme of “Looking back on the history of agriculture and considering the future” (speeches titled “Building the Future of Agriculture 150 Years Ahead, Starting Now” from Prof. Sachiko Isobe; “Creating the Cities of the Future with Wood ~ Toward the Well-Being of People and the Planet” from Prof. Yuko Tsunetsugu; and another titled “Next Steps for New Horizon of Veterinary Science - Creating a Symbiotic Society for the Well-being of Humans and Animals -” by Prof. Yukari Takeuchi), as well as the showing of a promotional video. In the colloquium, we will be introducing the students’ activities, providing the opportunity to gain hands-on experience of experiments, and displaying poster presentations of research results.
