To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the University of Tokyo Hokkaido Forest in 2024, a commemorative ceremony, lectures and a forest tour will be held. The event will include two lectures, ¡°Looking Back, Unraveling, and Traveling with Photographs in the University of Tokyo Hokkaido Forest,¡± and ¡°The History, Current Status, and Prospects of Close-to-Nature Forestry: Lessons from Slovenia,¡± as well as a tour of the forest and its management.
The commemorative lectures will be held starting at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 11th and are open to the public.
The lectures will also be streamed online, so please register below.
